Father Enrico Maxwell

Father Enrico Maxwell is the fanatical leader of secret Iscariot Section XIII. He controls the Section with his iron fist. However, his blind devotion to his mission often makes his first paladin Alexander Anderson question his motivations, thus creating a certain amount of conflict from within the ranks. Enrico also has a bitter rivalry with Integra Hellsing, Head of the Hellsing Organization, due to their similar occupations and differing ideologies. In TV series he once almost got killed by Alucard, when he called Integral – "Protestant pig".

To the amusement of his fans, Enrico has an eye tic, which makes his right eye wink during times of anger. (He also appears to drool whilst he sleeps.

In the manga, Enrico has blonde hair and blue eyes, while in both animated versions he has silver hair. He has green eyes in the TV series and violet eyes in the OVA series.
