The Major/SS-Sturmbannführer Montana Max, The former first lieutenant of the SS, whom Adolf Hitler himself gave the order #666 in which Max was put in charge of top-secret research, the main focus of which was development a way to create artificial vampires for to help germans in WWII establishing a Reich which would last for a thousand years. (The name “Millennium” implies on that)

This chubby, short man is a very strange person for a leader of Nazi organization. It seems that the only thing he wishes for is an endless war on Earth. He himself implies that he has no goals in life. Despite this fact, all other members of Millennium unquestioningly follow his orders. It’s still remains a mystery how he managed to stay in his 40th for more than 55 years after the end of WWII until nowadays. That’s not the only black spots in his biography. In last chapters of manga it’s showed that Major somehow took part in execution of Alucard, back when he was a nobleman and shortly after Major is showed regretting the gift of blood, which was offered to him during the fall of Berlin, saying that, "My heart, my soul, and my life belong to me", thus becoming an ironic fulfillment of Alucard's definition for a "true human" - the only kind of person Alucard believes is capable of killing a "true monster".
