Volume 8

London is bothering in blood, its citizenry almost entirely slaughtered by vampire Nazi soldiers. And marching in the rivers of blood - thousands zealot Catholic warriors in white cloaks. But the focus of this chaotic 8 volume is the return of Alucard, the slave-paladin of the Hellsing, who's just piloted an aircraft carrier up the Thames to join the skirmish. It's a mad duel between three brutal armies and their main killers.

We are still in the middle of a fearsome battle that started in volume 6 with the vampire Nazis and the Catholic zealots that plot to take back Protestant England. England’s protectors - the Hellsing, are down to 3 warriors, but Alucard is really all they seem to need. He makes his grand entrance, and holds control for the rest of the volume. It is all about Alucard, literally. We learn who Alucard really is and see his past, as he defeats one enemy after another on the battlefield. And finally the battle with Alucards arch rival, Father Anderson takes place. This volume goes non-stop from beginning to end, with only short moments catch your breath with some plot teasing, and even after all this the fight still isn’t over.
